Welcome to the “Waste Wise Initiative at School (WWIS)” program, a transformative endeavor by Green Smith Nepal! 

Our mission is to cultivate environmental consciousness and empower schools in Rural Nepal to manage waste effectively. Here’s how we’re turning waste into wisdom:



What We Do
  1. Training and Capacity Building: We provide comprehensive training sessions for both students and academic/non-academic staff. These workshops cover waste segregation techniques, responsible handling, and the importance of waste management.
  2. Workshops: Engaging workshops are conducted to raise awareness about waste reduction, recycling, and proper disposal. Students actively participate in hands-on activities, learning practical skills.
  3. Infrastructure Setup: We collaborate with schools to establish infrastructure for waste collection, storage, and segregation. Properly designed waste bins and designated areas ensure efficient waste management.
  4. Streamlined Management: Our goal is to channel waste into the right streams—whether it’s organic, recyclable, or hazardous. By doing so, we contribute to a cleaner environment.
